Ingredients
Cake
- 120g (1 cup) flour
- 150g (3/4 cup) sugar
- 21g (1/4 cup) cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Vanilla
Hot fudge sauce
- 100g (1/2 cup) sugar
- 106g (1/2 cup) brown sugar
- 21g (1/4 cup) cocoa powder
- 1 1/4 cup boiling water
Directions
- Whisk dry ingredients for the cake.
- Add the wet ingredients. Spread batter into greased 8×8 pan.
- Whisk dry ingredients for the hot fudge sauce, and sprinkle over the top of the batter.
- Very carefully and slowly pour the boiling water over the top. Do not mix!
- Bake 350°F for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is almost set. The top will look cooked but it will be gooey underneath. Serve with vanilla ice cream!
