Ingredients

Oat crumble

  • 89g (1 cup) oats
  • 90g (3/4 cup) all purpose flour
  • 25g (1/4 cup) ground flaxseed
  • 50g (1/4 cup) sugar
  • 50g (1/4 cup) brown sugar
  • 113g (8 tbsp) butter (softened)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Dash of salt

Apple filling

  • 3-4 apples (diced, peeled if desired)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 50g (1/4 cup) brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Dash of salt

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients for the oat crumble and set aside.
  2. Prepare apples and combine with the rest of the apple filling ingredients.
  3. Add apple filling into a 8×8 pan. Top with oat crumble.
  4. Bake 375°F for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
