Ingredients

  • Thick sliced bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • Dash of salt

Directions

  1. Whisk all ingredients together.
  2. Dip the bread into the custard mixture.
  3. Place in a preheated pan (medium-low) and cook until browned, flip and cook until other side is browned.
  4. Repeat until custard mixture is gone, or until you have enough french toast.

Notes

Extra french toast freezes very well.
