Ingredients

  • 2 15ounce cans pinto beans (1 can blended with its liquid, 1 can drained)
  • 1/2 of an onion, finely diced
  • 1 jalapeño, finely diced
  • Garlic (desired amount, minced)
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper
  • Hot sauce (desired amount)
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)

Directions

  1. Saute onion, jalapeño, and garlic.
  2. Over medium heat, add the rest of the ingredients to the pot (except the cheese) and heat through.
  3. Add the cheese and stir until melted.
