Ingredients
- 2-3lb beef roast
- 4-5 medium-sized potatoes (cubed)
- 3-4 carrots (cubed)
- 1-2 onions (cubed)
- Garlic (minced, desired amount- I usually use a whole head of garlic)
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp tarragon
- 1 tsp parsley
- 2-3 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 cups beef broth
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp flour
- Salt and pepper (desired amount)
Directions
- Combine all of the ingredients, except the for the butter and flour, into the slow cooker.
- Let cook on low for 8-12 hours.
- Drain all of the liquid from the slow cooker.
- Make a roux with the butter/flour, and use the drained liquid to create a gravy.
- Mix the gravy back into the meat/veggies, and serve.
