Ingredients
- 1lb ground meat
- 1 bell pepper (diced)
- 1 onion (diced)
- Garlic (minced, desired amount)
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- Sauce mix
- 1/3 cup beef broth
- 2/3 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp Worchestershire sauce
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 3/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp parsley
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Hot sauce (desired amount)
- Salt and pepper (desired amount)
Directions
- Whisk all ingredients for the sauce mix together, set aside.
- Brown the meat with the prepared onion, bell pepper, and garlic.
- Add the tomato paste and cook for for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the sauce mix and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until it reaches the desired thickness.
Notes:
Use whatever meat you desire. Recipe works well with ground beef and ground turkey.
