Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • Garlic (5-6 cloves, minced)
  • 3 tbsp chopped fresh sage
  • 1 can diced fire-roasted tomatoes
  • 1 can cannellini beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • 1/2 tsp parsley
  • Red pepper flakes (desired amount)
  • Salt and pepper (desired amount)

Directions

  1. Heat oil in pan over medium. Add the diced onion, cook until soft and translucent.
  2. Add the garlic and sage, cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Lower the heat to medium-low and the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Simmer until liquid is reduced, about 15-20 minutes.
