Ingredients

  • 1lb ground meat
  • 1 green bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 1 jalapeño (diced)
  • Garlic (minced, desired amount- I usually use a whole head of garlic)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • Tomato sauce (8 ounces)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 2-3 bay leaves
  • 1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • A few dashes of red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper (desired amount)
  • Corn
  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni noodles

Directions

  1. Brown the meat in a pot with the diced veggies until the meat is cooked through. Add the garlic and sauté for an additional 1/2 minutes.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients into the pot. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and cover, simmer for 25-30 minutes or until pasta is cooked through.

Notes

Use whatever ground meat you desire. I typically used ground turkey, but other meats would work well too.
