Ingredients
- 1 cup AP flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp butter (melted)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Dash of cinnamon and nutmeg
- Cinnamon sugar for topping
Directions
- Combine all ingredients and mix well (i.e. with a blender/immersion blender). If not making the batter ahead of time, make sure the milk and eggs are room temp. If making the batter ahead of time, blend it up and then refrigerate until ready to use.
- Grease pan and preheat in the oven for 5-10 minutes.
- Pour (room temp) batter into hot pan.
- Bake at 400°F for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown (do not open the oven while they are cooking).
- When cool enough to handle, brush each popover with melted butter and coat in cinnamon sugar.
Notes
Easy to prep the batter ahead of time, just let it come to room temp while the oven is preheating. Great when served with homemade hot cocoa!
