Ingredients
- 4 cups Honeycomb cereal
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/8 cup light corn syrup
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup sugar + 3/4 tsp cinnamon, combined
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Combine brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup in a pot over medium-high heat.
- Bring to a light bowl, stirring continuously for about 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and mix in the baking soda (it will foam up).
- Pour hot mixture over the cereal and stir. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the top and stir again.
- Bake for 5 minutes. Stir the cereal and bake for another 2-3 minutes.
- Let cool briefly then enjoy.
