Ingredients
- 3/4 cup (94g) flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 8 tbsp butter
- 1 cup (200g) brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup (125g) peanut butter
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups (160g) old-fashioned whole rolled oats
- M&Ms (desired amount)
- Chocolate chips (desired amount)
- Peanut butter chips (desired amount)
Directions
- Whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Beat butter with the sugar until creamy and light in color.
- Beat in the peanut butter, and then the egg until combined. Add the vanilla.
- Slowly add the dry ingredient mixture into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the oats and the desired mix-ins.
- Let dough rest for 15-30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Cookies will look very soft, but let them rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes and they will finish baking. Lightly press down on each cookie when they are still hot, to flatten them if desired.
