Ingredients
- Blackened seasoning
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt an pepper (desired amount)
- 2-3 chicken thighs (sliced)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 bell peppers (sliced)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 1 can fire-roasted tomatoes
- 2-4 ounces cream cheese (use desired amount)
- 8 ounces elbow mac (cooked and drained)
Directions
- Mix spices to make the blackened seasoning.
- Season the prepared chicken with half of the blackened seasoning.
- Heat the oil and butter in a pan over medium-high heat, fry chicken until browned and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and add the prepared veggies. Let veggies cook down until soft and browned.
- Add the tomatoes, cream cheese, and the rest of the blackened seasoning to the pan. Heat until the cream cheese is melted and sauce is well blended.
- Combine the noodles and chicken with the sauce.
