Ingredients
- 1lb ground meat
- 1 green bell pepper (diced)
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 jalapeño (diced)
- Garlic (minced, desired amount- I usually use a whole head of garlic)
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- Tomato sauce (8 ounces)
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 2-3 bay leaves
- 1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning
- A few dashes of red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper (desired amount)
- Corn
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni noodles
Directions
- Brown the meat in a pot with the diced veggies until the meat is cooked through. Add the garlic and sauté for an additional 1/2 minutes.
- Add the rest of the ingredients into the pot. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and cover, simmer for 25-30 minutes or until pasta is cooked through.
Notes
Use whatever ground meat you desire. I typically used ground turkey, but other meats would work well too.
