Ingredients
- Sugar cookie dough (store bought or homemade, your choice)
- 8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
- 8 ounce tub of whipped topping (Cool Whip)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Fruit (washed and diced/cut to desired size)
- Glaze
- 1/2 cup juice (apple works well)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 2 tbsp cold water
Directions
- Prepare sugar cookie dough by spreading out in a pan (9×13 pan is preferred), and baking according to package/recipe directions. Let cool completely.
- While the sugar cookie is cooling, prepare the glaze. Bring the juice to a boil with the sugar, remove from heat and add cornstarch/water mix. Allow to cool completely and thicken.
- Blend cream cheese, whipped topping, and vanilla until smooth and no lumps remain.
- Spread cream cheese mixture on top of cooled cookie.
- Top with desired amount of fruit (I like to put a lot of fruit on mine).
- Drizzle glaze over the top and serve.
Notes
Use any combination of fruit you’d like- strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, kiwi, mango, pineapple, etc.
